Brand Story / Concept (from Advini Catalogue):
Inwinectus is a range of wines elaborated in the South of France. It pays tribute to the animals that protect the vineyards and contribute to the biodiversity of the region. The Merlot is depicted by the Owl Grand Duke, a sovereign animal, the world’s largest nocturnal raptor. Invincible and powerful, he probes the night with his penetrating gaze.

Vineyard:
The Land of Languedoc was one of the earliest and most favourable territories for viticulture. From pre-Roman times, a sea of vines unfolds on the “stairs” of this amphitheatre of mountains, hills, and terraces around the Gulf of Lion, South of France western Mediterranean coastline.

Soil Type:
Clay and limestone.

Vinification (Winemaking):
Maceration with a destemmed harvest. Alcoholic fermentation between 23°C and 28°C in stainless steel vat during 8–10 days, giving fruity aromas and melted tannins.

Complete Tasting Notes:

  • Colour: Deep red colour with ruby highlights. Dark ruby red.

  • Nose: Complex nose of red berries – blackcurrant and wild strawberries. Hints of currant, liquorice and caramel on the nose.

  • Palate: Full and soft texture on the palate. It has perfectly balanced woody notes enriched with the smooth and creamy flavour of a homemade summer fruit sponge cake. Nice density.

  • Finish: Spicy finish.

Serving Advice:
Serve at 14–16°C.
